Written by a practising safety professional
Every workbook is written by Dr Paul Stanford Kupakuwana, a UK Chartered Engineer and Certified Member of IOSH.
Paul holds the NEBOSH National Diploma (Level 6) and works as a fire risk assessor and fire door inspector through Stanford Global Limited. He writes for small and medium employers who need to get health and safety right without a full-time adviser.
Each workbook follows the same pattern: what the law requires, how to do it, a worked example from a real type of business, then forms you can use straight away. Sources are listed at the back so you can check the guidance yourself.

Questions
Are the workbooks up to date?
Yes. Every title is Version 1.1, checked against Great Britain law and HSE guidance as at November 2026. We review each title at least once a year, and sooner when the law changes.
Can I fill them in on screen?
The worksheets are designed to be printed and completed by hand, which suits inspections, toolbox talks and site work. You can also annotate the PDF in most PDF readers.
Can I share them with my team?
Yes, within your own organisation. You can print and copy the worksheets as often as you need. You cannot resell or share them outside your organisation. See our licence terms.
Do they cover Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?
They are written for Great Britain, so they apply in England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland has its own regulations and enforcing body (HSENI), so check local requirements there.
Do you cover fire safety?
Fire risk assessment, fire doors and evacuation are covered by our sister shop, Fire Safety Club. The health and safety workbooks point you there where fire is relevant.
